How to enable and use HubSpot integration
Overview
HubSpot is a leading CRM solution. This integration with Rapidr enables you to create and vote on feedback on behalf of a contact, as well as link deals to existing feedback within the HubSpot CRM. Additionally, Rapidr synchronizes contact attributes from the HubSpot CRM with Rapidr user attributes.
Enable the integration
Step 1 - Open the HubSpot integration page
Log in to the Rapidr admin panel and select "Integrations" from the bottom left corner of the screen.
On the next page, select "HubSpot".
Please note: HubSpot is only available on the Business plan and above.
Click on the "Connect with HubSpot" button.
Step 2 - Choose an account and authenticate
Select the account you wish to connect to Rapidr.
Review the permissions (also known as scopes) and click "Connect App".
Step 3 - You're done
You are now connected. You should see a screen that looks like this:
[optional] Step 4 - Sync contact fields
Decide if you wish to synchronize HubSpot contact attributes with Rapidr. In the example below, we have configured the "Total Revenue" (total_revenue
) attribute to sync with Rapidr.
How it works
Now that you have connected HubSpot with Rapidr, let's explore the functionalities available:
Track Feedback from Contacts Directly Within HubSpot
Locate the "Rapidr - Track Feedback" native CRM card on your contact page. By default, it will be situated at the bottom of the list. Once you find it, click on the "Track Feedback" button.
You'll be presented with a modal where you can:
- Vote: Search for existing feedback to add the Contact's vote
- Feedback: Create new feedback on behalf of the Contact
All the feedback created on behalf of the Contact will appear in the Rapidr CRM card.
Link a Deal to Existing Feedback
Similar to contacts, HubSpot deals can be linked to any existing feedback.
Click the "Link Feedback" button, and a modal will appear.
Select a board and search for feedback using keywords. Click the "Link Deal with Feedback" option to associate the deal with the selected feedback.
Linked deals are displayed in Rapidr as "Revenue Opportunities," assisting product teams in assessing potential revenue impacts.
You can link multiple opportunities to feedback. We display the total sum of the revenue generated from all linked deals.
You can click on the deal in Rapidr to open it in the HubSpot CRM. Please note that we internally process the revenue in USD, not in the currency specified in your HubSpot account.
Sync Contact fields
When enabled, we will synchronize selected contact fields from HubSpot to Rapidr.
You need to define user traits with the same name in Rapidr. We have a guide to assist you in adding custom user traits.
